If you mainline this thing, it's not the longest game. It feels excellent, I like the weapons, there is a bevy of upgrades, and multiple difficulties you can choose. There is some performance issues, absolutely, but I have to say the combat is phenomenal. I would, say on the PC, this is worthy of a purchase right now. So far, I am really enjoying Rage 2 yet something just doesn't sit right But mechanically, it’s one of the best shooters I’ve played in years. But even if it doesn’t, I still like Rage 2. Maybe the world will do something surprising and evoke something besides Mad Max. But I still have a ways to go before completing it. I’m not digging Rage 2’s story or setting. If you sleep on it, you’re sleeping on one of the best – if not the best – single-player FPS games of this generation.
